Terms of Use

Updated October 28, 2026

These terms are the rules for using ChannelCareers. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

You must be 16 or older to use ChannelCareers.

Who runs ChannelCareers

ChannelCareers is run by Yellow Brick. It is from the team behind Channel Partner Directory.

Mail: ChannelCareers, PO Box 132, Troy, MI 48099.

What ChannelCareers is

ChannelCareers is a job site for the technology channel. The channel is the network of companies that sell technology through technology advisors. It includes suppliers, distributors, technology advisor firms and managed service providers (MSPs).

Using ChannelCareers is free for job seekers and for employers. Searching, job pages, job alerts and posting a job are free. See "Ads and how we make money" below.

Where jobs come from

Jobs on ChannelCareers come from two places.

  • Jobs we pull. We read each employer's public careers page and copy the job here. Every one links back to the employer's site.
  • Jobs employers post. A verified employer signs in with a work email and posts a job on ChannelCareers.

Employers who post here must confirm every 30 days that the job is still open.

Job text, company names and logos belong to the employers or to their owners. We show them so people can find jobs.

What we promise and what we do not

We work to keep jobs real. We check links and we take down jobs that are gone.

We cannot promise that a job is still open, that every detail is correct, or that it will be filled. Pay, place and other details come from the employer and can change. We cannot promise that an employer will reply to you.

Our job pages and guides are general information. They are not career, legal or hiring advice.

Applying for a job

When you tap Apply, you leave ChannelCareers. You go to the employer's site, or you write to the employer by email. You apply to the employer, not to us.

We are not part of hiring. We do not interview, screen or hire anyone. We do not act for the employer or for you. The employer's own terms and privacy policy apply on their site.

We count Apply taps for each job. See Privacy and your data.

Never pay a fee to get a job. If a post asks you for money, tell us at support@channelcareers.com.

Rules for posting a job

If you post a job on ChannelCareers, you agree that:

  • It is a real job and you may hire for it. If you are building a pipeline and not hiring now, say so on the form.
  • You show the pay range. Every job needs one. Commission-only (1099) jobs explain the pay plan in words instead (see below).
  • The title, place, pay and how to apply are true. Say if the job is remote, hybrid or on site.
  • It does not prefer or shut out people because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or any other trait the law protects.
  • You do not charge applicants or new hires to join, to train or to buy in.
  • If the job pays commission only (1099), you pick "Commission only (1099)" as the job type and explain the pay plan in words: what is paid, how often and for how long. Technology advisor roles show under Advisor opportunities.
  • It is not a multi-level marketing or pyramid scheme role.
  • You do not post the same job again and again.
  • You do not use a post to sell something or to collect personal data.

We run automatic checks on every post. We can remove any post at any time. We reply to posters by email.

You are responsible for what you post. You give us permission to show it and share it on ChannelCareers, in job alerts, in our feeds and with search engines, so people can find it. You keep ownership.

Accounts and sign-in

You do not need an account to search jobs. You can save jobs on your own device without one. You sign in to post a job. Job seekers can also sign in to keep alerts, saved jobs and applied jobs in one place.

There is no password. We email you a sign-in link. It works once, for 20 minutes. Anyone with the link can sign in as you, so do not share it.

Use your own email address. Employers should use a work email, so people can see the job is real. A personal email address can have up to 3 open jobs.

You can claim a company's page only with a work email at that company's own domain. Free email such as Gmail cannot claim a page. Do not claim a page for a company you do not work for.

We send job alerts only after you confirm your email. Every alert has a link to change it or stop it.

You can delete your account at any time. Job seekers do it on My jobs. Employers do it on their dashboard. See Privacy and your data.

Removing posts and accounts

We can remove any job, company page or account at any time. We do this if something breaks these terms, looks false, or could harm people. We may also block an email address from the site. We do not have to give a reason.

If you think we made a wrong call, email hello@channelcareers.com.

Employers can pause or remove the jobs they posted on ChannelCareers at any time on their dashboard.

Ads and how we make money

ChannelCareers is free to use. Here is how we pay for it.

  • Some ads are for our own sites: Channel Partner Directory and TechnologyAdvisor.com. They say "From our network".
  • Some ads are affiliate links to tools we recommend. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission. They say "Ad · Affiliate link. We may earn a commission."

Ads and sponsors never change the order of jobs, what search engines see about a job, or which jobs your alerts send. Ads never sit inside the list of jobs. We never sell featured or pinned jobs, paid renewals, or your data.

See How ChannelCareers stays free.

Using the site fairly

Use ChannelCareers for your own job search or to hire. You may not:

  • use bots, scrapers or scripts to copy jobs or pages in bulk, or to load the site at a heavy rate
  • copy our job lists to build another job site or a database
  • try to break the site, overload it, or reach parts of it you are not allowed to reach
  • use our forms or email addresses to send spam
  • pretend to be someone else

These limits do not apply to search engines and other crawlers that follow our robots.txt file. They are welcome.

You may show our job feed (RSS feed) on your own site. Each job title must link to its page on ChannelCareers, and you must say the jobs come from ChannelCareers.

The ChannelCareers name, logo and design belong to us. Do not use them to suggest that we back you or your product.

Links to other sites

ChannelCareers links to other sites, such as employer careers pages and company websites. We do not run those sites. We do not control what is on them or what they do with your data. Read their terms before you share anything.

No warranty

ChannelCareers is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that the site will always work, be free of errors or be online at all times. As far as the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind, spoken or written, express or implied.

Some places do not allow some of these limits. Where that is true, they apply only as far as the law allows.

Limit of our responsibility

As far as the law allows, ChannelCareers and Yellow Brick are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss. This includes lost pay, lost chances and lost profit that come from using the site. It also covers loss that comes from a job post, a job that was filled, a hiring choice, a link to another site or an ad.

If we are ever found responsible for a loss anyway, the most we owe you is what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. ChannelCareers is free, so for almost everyone that is $0.

Dealings between job seekers and employers are between them.

Nothing here limits responsibility that the law does not let us limit.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The "Updated" date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.

If a court finds that part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.

Governing law

These terms follow the laws of the State of Michigan, USA. A dispute goes to the state courts in Oakland County, Michigan, or to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
